I purchased a second vacation package from this resort when they called ME! After several failed attempts to schedule the vacation I was told I can't use the package for a year and not in the summer. After I stated I was given false information I was told it's in the fine print. However, as many people know payment comes before any written correspondence. It also took the resort 8 weeks to give me this lame response to consistent attempts to schedule, I even asked for my money back and I was told there are no refunds. This company is pitiful. They even called me to purchase another vacation until I began to complain about not being able to use the vacation I already purchased. I was then promptly sent to a generic voicemail. I've been scammed!

Always read what you are getting. Clearly if you ask alot of questions and are clear with your intension s you could have a promising experience... Satisfied Customer.

Very very unresponsive

I was sold a 4 nite 5 day stay in Hilton head South Carolina. I paid $250. This was for a possible time share agreement.Since I gave them money, I have been unable to get anyone to return my calls. I would not buy a Popsicle from this company. Worst company I've ever dealt with. I have made at least 20 calls and no return calls. I am so disgusted with this company. Do not ever deal with this company. I wonder how this company is still in business. Terrible,terrible,terrible,terrible,terrible,terrible.terrible,terrible,terrible, terrible. And did I say that I am pissed?

i have scheduled a vacation with spinnaker and tried to call for 2 months not one call back I would never buy a time share here the worst

We paid for a something similar a couple of months ago and when asked "do you know when you would like to book?" We replied "yes, on Memorial day weekend because, that is our Anniversary" we were told "sorry, we are not booing that far in advance" So we didn't book a day. Then a few weeks later, a rep named Janice, called.

"Hi, we noticed that you haven't book with us, yet, do you have a date in mind?" Again we said "yes, Memorial Day weekend" and she said "we are not booking that far in advanced but I will make a note to call you when it does" So she calls today, 3/11 and said "Memorial Day weekend opened up but it was already fully booked" She gave me this "people booked when they purchased" answer, that doesn't make sense because we were told otherwise. I am pretty upset about it. We were married on Memorial Day and we both have a paid holiday making the Friday before the only day we have to ask off, for. And then she tells me that May 30th is the farthest out they can book.

We also were promised a 2 bedroom condo and booked the dates of our stay soon after receiving the 4 nt stay package. We just arrived on Sunday and are currently staying with Spinnaker. We were tricked and instead were placed into a hotel room on the Spinnaker property, unit B. This is NOT anywhere close to a condo and is the smallest, poorest quality place we have stayed since our early 20's when we didn't know any better. We attended the timeshare presentation today and spent 3 1/2 hours there trying to tell them we are not interested, especially when they put us up in a sad hotel room. We told them we were interested in trying out the units we might buy but we never had the chance to check it out. Their reasoning of not having any rooms in the resort is ridiculous. They also said there is a marketing company that runs the Spinnaker hotel and they are not affiliated. I do not believe them as we saw the exact same decorative boat sculpture on the wall at the Bluewater resort. We will not be coming back & feel mislead.

I had I bad experience with your resort. I was there on my Anniversary and the 100 dough money is a joke .I had several business that wouldn't even take this joke money that they give just to get you here and I payed for parking for the hotel and they claim I would get that back and I didn't .So I talked to Monica in there customer service and she promised me a refund of 150.00 and to call her back.Well I try to call her back and the phone rings and then hangup on you. What joke this company is my advice to anyone that is dealing with this company. Please don't you will spend more money with this company and lose some. I have write the Better Business Bureau and others to complain about this joke company

Messed up Payroll and Manager

I worked at Spinnaker Resorts "call center" for a day and a half. It was the most ratchet, unprofessional place i have ever stepped foot into. They play their music so loud that i can hardly hear the customer, and the reason people probably dont want to buy anything is because the music being played is so loud, and its rap music, club music, people are already thinking its a scam because what kind of job listens to their music so loud especially when the consumer is hearing it. but that wasn't the worst part.....i had signed a paper that said when i quit i will have my paycheck retained til up to 60 days its called a 60 day deal hold, this is made because people who buy the packages may want a refund and they don't want the refund coming from the company so they will take it from an employees check, that's totally understandable, but i never made a deal for them to withhold my check for 60 days when the person who makes the checks works at the same office i did and when i asked what i was signing i was told that this only happens when you make a deal.. I never made one. i began to be frustrated, i was disrespected by the "manager" who was a guy in dreads, i wonder if their is cameras the recorded the incident, because i was trying to walk away, it seemed as though he wanted to fight me or something because another fellow co worker had his arms around him pushing him back as he was trying to walk forward towards me.

I exchanged in from RCI to a week at Royal Floridian, nice clean room, but then they wanted us to take tour. They proceeded to tell us how we had got screwed on the timeshare from Coral Resorts in Hilton Head.

And how they were gonna give us a much better deal, and how they would take our timeshare on trade and guarantee to buy it out if it didn't sell in 120 days. Ok,, I've been lied to quite a bit by timeshare people, but these people blow smoke up your a## like none I've ever heard before. They got really msd when we said no.

Thank God I saw through there scam. I read these reviews later and I'm pne happy camper

Lied to for a "sale". We live in south Florida, so I wasn't really interested in a resort in South Carolina (much colder on winter).. but, every time I went to hang up, the girl sweetened the deal: Upgraded to a 2 bedroom Condo, Dolphin tour for six, $100 cash back and extended travel dates up to 18 mo. Funny, after the payment went thru , we received an email which indicated the we can't travel during Spring Break or from April 1st to Aug 31st...isn't that vacation time for people w/ kids? We called anyway to schedule in July and not to our surprise, we were told that they could not schedule vacations more than 45 days out...on top of that, we were also told that even if it were available, they do not place guests into Condos...There lips were moving, but they lying, lying, lying! Contacted my credit card company because Spinnaker doesn't issue a customer service number...

I BOOKED A RESERVATION ON 4/10/15 WITH RESORT,LATER THAT DAY I CHECKED MY ACCOUNT AND UNKNOWN TO ME AN EMPLOYEE DEBITED A $70 PROCESSING FEE WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE, CALLED HAD IT SETTLED GOT MY $70 BACK. BUT ON TODAY 4/21/15 THIS LOVELY RESORT HAS DEBITED $70 AGAIN ALONG WITH $349 WHICH WAS ORIGINAL COST OF STAY FOR WEEK, WHICH I HAD ALREADY PAID ON 4/10/15! BUT THE MANAGER "MONICA V" WILL NOT REFUND MY MONEY! I HAVE CALLED COOPERATE AS WELL, NO HELP! PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY THERE ARE THIEF'S WITHIN THE COMPANY! BE CAUTIOUS ABOUT GIVING YOUR DEBIT INFO!

Persistent FCC Violations

They have called me for over a year, almost weekly, and will not remove my number from their lists. I am on the DNC list and have been assured for over 14 months now that I will be removed but the called just continue. Best part is when I ask to be removed nicely on the phone they just hang up. This company is the absolute worst. They operate unethically and illegally and then offer no customer service whatsoever. They do not handle their affairs properly and frankly just don't care. Stay away from this company. They do not care.

Spinnker Resorts -False Advertisement & Harassment Scam

Entered a Facebook contest that appeared to be (by name and information on page) Hilton Head Island C&VB/CC. The next morning just after 8am I received the first call from Spinnker Resorts. They referenced the contest and went right into a hard sale. I informed them at that time I was not interested and to remove my name from their list. Despite repeated request, I received several calls a day. I was traveling on international assignment and receiving these calls at all hours was costly and disruptive. After informing them of my intent to take legal action for harassing calls, the calls stopped for about 45 days but have started again. These people are very rude and I consider this harassment. I contacted HHI CC for assistance to stop the calls only to find the Facebook page was a fraud and had nothing to do with them.

Not at all what we were sold!

On the phone when initial contact was made, we were told about the Bluewater Resort and advised that we would be given a 3/2 for a short stay. Instead we got a DD. Translation? We received 2 beds in a small, ridiculous room. The hallways are HOT!! The decor is poor and everything is dated. There is no elevator so hauling your belongings up the stairwell will be a challenge. Customer service, in the actual hotel, was slow to assist. What in this room would inspire me to invest my money in this resort? They won't even allow me a stay in the room as is the case with several other timeshare locations. I feel that we were scammed! This is a NO, NO, NO! I probably wouldn't feel so bad if we go the room for free, but we had to pay $250 (admittedly modest) and waste 90 minutes of our time.

I have dealt with you all for quiet sometime and you all have been so nice. Today I spoke to a person that really affended me. She started nice at first but really got rule later. I understand she did not want me to lose my 1,800.00 credit. All I wanted to do is cancel and lose my 1800.00. You all have a good problem but it is not for me. I have dealt with other problems about time share but a has happened and I cannot deal with vacations right now . Thank You Very much for your time.

You know the old saying if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Well, that is the case with Spinnaker Resorts. Be very careful of this business,

After being approached at IHOP after breakfast while vacationing on Hilton Head my husband and I decided we would pay the $20 we had our appointment set for 9am the next day we were to receive our $20 back, breakfast with presentation, 3 day 2 night stay, and $100. After reading reviews I decided that this probably would not a wise investment so we went to get our money back at 9am. First we were told we could not have it, but upon showing them it did not have it anywhere on form that we had to stay for presentation they agreed to return (when they were ready). While we stood there waiting for them to get ready this is what we heard and observed. The counter person Ashley telling people that they had been overbooked and wanting them to come at 1230, the potential person stated they could not (I wonder if they received their $20 back). Couples who had appointments at 830 who said they had been waiting for an hour and the presentation was only supposed to be 90 minutes. One gentlemen said he had asked for a cup of coffee and had been told "no". My son-in-law who is more bold just walked upstairs where the food was and went and got a glass of juice and told the gentlemen, they can't tell you no, just go get it so the gentleman did. They should have had juice, water and coffee downstairs for the many people who were waiting for the "presentation". When we were told to come for "mother's day breakfast" don't make people sit and wait. This company should be ashamed of how it treated it perspective clients, just imagine once you sign on the dotted line. YIKES!!!

I purchased the package in 2013, and made a reservation for 2014. I told the reservation I needed space for three hotel rooms as I was brining my cousin and her husband.

When I called to confirm in August 2013 I found out that they had booked a hotel room with two beds. I told them that it was not acceptable as I was bringing my cousin and her husband. I spoke to the hotel manager Ganzee, who was to try and get another room and call me back early enough in the morning for us to make the drive (from Murfreesboro, TN). This never happened when I got in touch with her about noon she said she had been in a meeting all morning but had two rooms.

I told her it was to late for us to come could we come tomorrow. No! you could only talk to someone today!! Finally I received a one year extension then the person who was suppose to call me Jonathan Ext.

73280 did not. I called and talked to a Joey Ext 73210, who said Jonathan quit last August, he booked two rooms for me date was Aug. 14, 2015. GUESS What, Joey did not book the rooms, does not remember the conversation and no record was made!!

I even called in July while in the area to see if someone had cancelled, the answer was no. Also no record of this call; Yet They Copy all calls!! Really!! I should just kiss my money good bye These People are irresponsible and unqualified to work any where even hamburger flipping.

They would get the orders mixed up. Lady from customer service told me she had no idea how I got Joey's name and extension number there was no record of any calls from me since 2013 how convenient. She asked what would make me happy I told her two room Aug. 12th or a condo.

She got mad said I was threading her, after I told her about this message then hung up. Is there a class action lawyer out there looking for a case, I think this is one waiting to happen.

Did you receive a confirmation letter showing dates set? The problem with these things is people hear what they want and to them it's the truth.

If dates are set....anywhere, a confirmation is sent. Hope you enjoy your vacation.

Give it a pass!

Booked a three night stay and agreed to attend 90 minute sales pitch for free golf, $100 visa restaurant gift cards. Sales pitch became three hours, golf passes issued second day of three day visit, couldn't use. Restaurant gift cards only good at mobile app where I could not register cards! Hotel booked for our three night stay was a dump at $399! Would not deal with this group. We do own time shares and points with another resort with multiple locations worldwide. Spinnaker is boiler house sales pitch, passing you up the chain as they try to wear you down. They only have facilities in Hilton Head and very expensive.
