Was lied to about what they were going to do for me
i was lied into purchasing a week strictly for rental purposes.after taking my deposit of $1900.00 I never heard from anyone again.Tried calling a Mr.Peter Nodelman and a Mr. Omar Smith every day and no one would return my calls. When I finally spoke to Mr. Nodelman
He stated that he was going to speak to his boss about getting me the week to rent.Never heard from him again.Mr.Smith promised to repay me $298.00 that I had to pay to Timeshare Only top put one of my Marriott week up for sale.Never heard from him either.
I strongly advise anyone thinking of purchasing from these people to google them and read all of the complaints regarding people being lied to.By the time I contacted the company they told me it was too late to cancel contract.I have been at this since 9/24/2014
I wont give up.We are 80 and 74 years of age I feel that that is why they took advantage of us.BE VERY CAREFUL OF THIS COMPANY>

Resort Reservations Review
BEWARE OF SPINNAKER RESORTS!! SALESMAN SCAM ALL LIES!!
We previously purchased a timeshare with Spinnaker only to find out everything the salesperson told us was a lie. We was very disappointed to find out that we didn't have what the Salesperson said we did.
We complained at the corporate office and a few months later got a call from Spinnaker asking us how we liked our timeshare. We let him know we was not happy and was very disgusted with all the lies just to get people to purchase. He told us that if we would make a trip back up there that we could talk to someone that would fix it for us. I was very sick at that time with Severe Adrenal Fatigue (this is caused from stress) and told the salesman.
He was well aware of my issue as I felt really bad that day. My issue and doctor visits have greatly increased since this incident of VERY UNPROFESSIONAL sales practices. I have found that they have a history of this. We told him the lies the previous sales rep told us and he said the company had come up with a Premier Program because of un satisfied owners to help the business situation.
The Premier Program was 28 days for the owner and if you didn't use all your days, if you would call at the beginning of the year to let them know how many days you wasn't going to use that they would sell the rooms for you and you would get $100 a night for those rooms. They even discounted the nights we wouldn't use that year off of our total. We also could stay at any of their other resorts if requested. We went to Welk Resorts to tour their resorts which are much nicer with a lot more activities.
They told us Spinnakers program didn't sound right. I called Matt to verify if everything he said was true. He assured me it was that Welk didn't know about their "Premier Program". Of course they didn't know anything about it because there is no such thing!
He gave us his personal cell # and guaranteed the the companies new policy was that they had to return calls within a certain time frame. That was a lie after the purchase! We upgraded for an additional $8000.00 ON TOP of the $5000.00 we previously paid for the timeshare. They started out at $13,000 and knocked off $100 for the nights we wouldn't be using which is why it was $8000.00.
When I called the next year to tell the the nights we wouldn't be using we found out that it was all a dishonest sales practice and a LIE to steal money from you! We spent $8000.00 more dollars for NOTHING!! We didn't even get an upgrade! We got nothing but wasted $8000.00 hard earned dollars worked out on the credit card.
Stay away from this company!!! I can't stress it enough!! SPINNAKER RESORTS is a SCAM!! I called to speak with a manager and let them know that I would be going to the BBB with this.
He let me know he dealers with the BBB all the time. I can understand why.
I feel that the people who have been scammed by these unethical practices should ban together to get something done! There has to be a law against such dishonest sales practices!
Using false Phone numbers for calls
Resort Presentation Review
DO NOT BELIEVE THESE PEOPLE
Purchased tour package with understanding dates would be confirmed. Then told no dates could be confirmed; we asked for refund.
Taped phone conversation listened too and then were told dates, 9 Feb 2015 were confirmed. We agreed to keep package and written confirmation received. Weeks late we received refund to card account that had been changed and we did not catch it. No cancellation letter received.
Good thing I decided to reconfirm as we would have arrived in FL with no place to stay. Took hours to find out what had happened. Service rep. "Anita" was unpleasant and arrogant and made no attempt to accommodate us even though openings exist at the resort.
BUYER BEWARE... They will promise you the moon and deliver $%#@!

Listen u people know what this is about. U really think ur getting a 2000 $$ vacation for 3_400$$$ without taking a tour.
This is how we get repeat b u I s.Ness. vacations don't cost 300.
A rigging room at a hotel cost that. It's a great package and a lot of people are grateful for the credits and love it.
Same exact spiel... but mine was 1800 credit for a 399$ package offer.
I enjoyed the guy and his effort to sell, so I stayed on the phone for almost an hour solid 45/min for sure. We bantered back and forth, in the end I feel it probably is not a scam. Just another phone campaign from companies. I've been forced to engage in the same tactics in past jobs.
which is why I feel it may be legit. I personally wont spend money on a cold call with a company Ive never heard/dealt with before. I just figure Ill waste thier time if they want to waste mine.
In the end the guy was still nice and let me speak when I wanted to. Dude should be a car salesman not a phone jockey.
